Design Process
Initial Consultation
A consultation fee applies for the first meeting. During this session, Alexander works closely with the client to understand the purpose of the space, overall vision and design goals in order to establish a clear and cohesive direction.
Project Engagement
Once hired, a contract is established outlining the project scope, budget, aesthetic direction, timeline, expectations and fee structure.
Fees & Payments
Design fees are based on the scope of work and estimated project timeline. Services may be billed as:

A project-based fee, or

An hourly rate that includes design development, sourcing and shopping, travel, research and related out-of-pocket expenses
Upon project approval, the consultation fee is waived. A typical payment structure includes:

30% deposit to begin the project

30% midway through the project

Final payment upon completion
Clients are responsible for all material and furnishing costs at the time of procurement.
